DETAILS: High-end fashion label Marchesa, co-founded by British designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, will team with Naples, Fla.-based boutique Marissa Collections to present the 2011 Symphony Spring Fashion Show on April 26, 2011. Ida Pedrotti, Vice-President of Sales at Marchesa, and Marissa and Jay Hartington, the mother-and-son owners of Marissa Collections, will be attending this event.

The October Trunk Show, presented by Marissa Collections, reveals the latest Marchesa designs for resort and spring. Marchesa’s Resort 2011 is defined by easy shapes with a lot of attitude. Tank dresses and long-sleeve shifts with graphic all-over beading add a playful look. The range is fabulous, inspired by tribal motifs, adorned with feathers, fringe, beading and hand embroidery, but feminine and fun. Hair and makeup for the models will be provided by Escape Day Spa & Salon by stylist Kyle Brougham and artist Mel Manson. This trunk show will also feature the jewelry designs of Erickson Beamon, known for their custom pieces and runway collaborations designed for Givenchy, Dior, Chanel, Anna Sui, Ungaro and more. This jewelry is the hippest in town!

This trunk show is a preface to the Nashville Symphony Spring Fashion Show. It is hosted by co-chairs Janet Bentz and Johnna Watson and the Nashville Symphony Orchestra League at Schermerhorn Symphony Center. The show will feature the New York-based designers’ 2011 Fall Collection.
